Hideaway Cabin — Mountain Views, Fire Pit, Buffalo WY

Welcome to your Wyoming home base — where wide-open skies, mountain views, and true Western charm come together.

You’re staying in a cozy, authentic Wyoming cabin just outside Buffalo, perfectly positioned between downtown charm and Bighorn Mountain adventure. This is the kind of place guests describe as a “home away from home” — not staged, not sterile, but warm, welcoming, and real.

Wake up to crisp mountain air, sip coffee while watching the weather roll across the Bighorns, and unwind at night in a space designed for comfort, connection, and rest.

Whether you’re here to hike, hunt, road-trip, relax with your dog, or simply unplug — this cabin makes it easy to settle in and slow down.

This is not a staged rental — it’s a lived-in, thoughtfully cared-for Wyoming cabin managed locally by Wyo Stays with comfort and authenticity in mind.

You’ll enjoy cozy living spaces, comfortable beds, vintage Western touches, and wide-open views of the Bighorn Mountains. Guests often describe it as “a home away from home” and “exactly what you want after a long day exploring Wyoming.”

Our past guests have shared:

Perfect for couples, families, road-trippers, hunters, hikers, and anyone wanting to slow down and settle in.

Transparency is important to us, so please review the following before booking:

This is a rural Wyoming property — you may see cows nearby and hear occasional farm sounds or see nearby wildlife. We actively do what we can to mitigate for pets, but please keep in mind this is the base of the Bighorn Mountains in a cabin in Buffalo, Wyoming. Ocassionally deer and bunnys wander the yard looking for a friend.

Our friendly black lab, Finn, may greet you outside (a guest favorite!)

Owners live nearby on the property (approx. 50 yards away)

Garage access is not included

Snowmobiling access in the Bighorns is generally better farther north — this location is ideal for hiking, hunting, scenic drives, and town access

Our past guests have shared:
“Beautiful setting, peaceful, and very cozy.”
“Everything was great and went smooth.”

If you’re looking for an honest, welcoming, pet-friendly Wyoming stay — this is it.
